Yeguada Aguja (Spire Stud Farm) specialises in the breeding of Quality Purebred Spanish horses.

Here we breed from the finest mares, who have won many top prizes nationally in the UK and Spain. We have the ultimate stallions at stud, including two that have won nationally in the UK, here we thrive on breeding the quality and the outstanding temperaments of the PREs, Pure Raza Espanola, also known as the Andalusian horse.

In the UK two of our youngsters have won Best British Bred, Best Movement, Best in Class and overall National Champion.

At the stud we are now taking a small interest in the new unusual colours that we are now seeing in the PRE. Up untill a few years ago these colurs were not accepted by the Spanish stud book in Spain. Since that time we are starting to see various different colours of Dun, Buckskins, Chestnuts and Blacks. We now have a small herd of PRE Dun mares, smokey black foals and have recently purchased a Grullo colt, Bay/Dun colt and a Dunskin colt. Two of our Dun colts will be standing at stud in 2011 to limited visiting mares.
